Our Research Group
JPC is built and maintained by the Interdisciplinary Grid Development (IGD) group in the Sub-Department of Particle Physics at Oxford University. The IGD group was formed by Dr Jeff Tseng in 2003 with Chief Architect Rhys Newman arriving in 2004. The group is tasked with developing novel distributed computing systems for enhancing the data processing capabilities of Oxford Physicists; initially for Particle Physics and more recently Astrophysics.

Enter Keble Rd from Parks Rd (other entrance blocked to traffic - parking available in Keble Rd). From Keble Rd, go up the 2 flights of external concrete stairs and turn left along the concourse to the glass "airlock" in the corner. Ask reception for your contact person in the group.
